Browser Extension

To enhance your campaign creation experience, AlgorithmX provides a developer Chrome Extension. This extension allows you to preview Web Campaigns, Web Push Notifications, and template overlays directly over your live website, exactly as your customers will see them.

Installation Guide

The extension is currently distributed as an unpacked developer package. Please follow these steps to install it on Google Chrome or any Chromium-based browser (Edge, Brave).

Step 1: Download the Extension

1. Navigate to Settings > Extension on the left sidebar of the AlgorithmX dashboard.
2. Click the download button to download the dist.zip file containing the extension package.
3. Unzip the downloaded dist.zip file into a dedicated folder on your computer.

Step 2: Enable Developer Mode in Chrome

1. Open Google Chrome.
2. Click the three vertical dots (menu) in the top right corner.
3. Go to Extensions > Manage Extensions (or type chrome://extensions in your address bar).
4. In the top-right corner of the Extensions page, toggle the Developer mode switch to ON.

Step 3: Load the Extension

1. With Developer mode enabled, click the Load unpacked button that appears in the top-left corner.
2. Select the folder where you unzipped the dist.zip file.
3. The AlgorithmX extension will now appear in your list of active extensions.

[!NOTE] Make sure to pin the extension to your toolbar for easy access when testing live web campaigns.
