Users and Roles

The Management section helps administrators manage system users and control access across AlgorithmX.

Users

Create and manage user accounts, update user information, and control access to the platform.

The User List provides a searchable view of each team member's name, username, and assigned role. Use the Role filter to narrow the list, or select New User to add another team member.

Example users are fictional and illustrate how names, usernames, and roles appear in the User List.

Create a user

Select New User, then complete the user details and choose the appropriate role.

Enter the user's name, username, password, email address, and role before selecting Create User.

The creation form includes:

Details for the user's first and last name.
Credential fields for a unique username, password, and email address.
Roles to define the access level assigned to that user.

Roles and permissions

Define custom roles and assign permissions for modules and actions. Role-based access control helps teams give each user access only to the resources required for their responsibilities.
